Hybrid chat is a feature that allows you to integrate a live chat option with a virtual assistant. When customers seek help, they will first be greeted by an avatar, who will use Inbenta's natural language technology to help them find answers in your knowledge base.

Machine learning is one of the tools that teaches chatbots (like me!) to understand the user’s questions and requests.

Machine learning can analyze every previous conversation so the chatbot can provide the correct response — whether it’s a single question or a long conversation with multiple user questions and requests.

Chatbots categorize words into  “entities” and “intents”, mapping tools which pull the most relevant data, so the chatbot can take action to accurately direct the user. The “entities” represent concepts and extract values from natural language input. The “intents” are what the user says, the action, the response and the contexts.

An example would be if a user told the chatbot “saxophone music evening tickets”, it might suggest “Jazz concert, 9 pm show”.
